Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Dan. With your fight, and the support of the Buckeye nation there is no doubt you can overcome this.
I wondered about him as he had I believe a great spring. Cancer is always serious and in young people particularly deadly. We all wish him and his family a full recovery. :(
As most of you here know, I just lost my dad to cancer a few weeks ago.
Dan, I am pulling for you with every ounce of energy I have in me. I'm not an extremely religious person, and at times wander on the "GOD" subject, but I do believe in the "Devil" and it's name as we know it is "Cancer."
You're a young, healthy athlete and having that going for you will certainly work wonders about kicking this thing. Humm the "Battle Cry" in your head and go kick the crap out of this piece of #$*&%% thats entered your body.
Normally I would say, "One Buckeye Down. All Buckeye's Down." But not in this case. You're NOT down, you just have a bit of a fight in front of you. And we as "Buckeye" fans are NOT down either, we're actually UP higher for you right now than we are about being in the National Championship Game. Football games are obviously important to us folks here, otherwise, we wouldn't be here in the first place. YOU have all my thoughts tonight, young man, and I expect you to put up one Helluva fight. Screw football. Let the BCS put LSU and USC in the Championship game tomorrow, and you know what, I'll be more interested in finding out about your diagnosis/prognosis than I will about anything else.
