I'm excited to see Braxton get the start this week. Fickell is not deaf, he is hearing what most fans are saying. Plus, he has nothing to lose at this point. If Braxton comes in and turns the offense around, it very well could save Fickell's job. I hope so!

Time to move forward and not look back.

It's Braxton's time to rise and shine. This is what he's dreamed of all throughout High School and probably from the first day he put on pads. Leading the SCARLET & GRAY to victory in front of over 100,000 fans, plus
a nation wide television audience!!

It doesn't get any better than this Braxton. This is the time when hero's are made. May Saturday, Sept. 24th be the day that Braxton Miller makes his mark and establishes himself as the future hope of Ohio State football!!!

This was a good first starting performance for a freshman quarterback. He showed some impressive athleticism but also tried to do too much a few times, when he really could have gotten hurt.

I especially enjoyed watching him as he settled down.

I love the way he runs. I know the comparisons have already been made between him and Shoelaces. I always said that they way Shoelaces runs, we would not have to worry about him during The Game because he most likely will be injured by then. I am starting to feel the same way about Miller. He was taking some good hits out there.

I think the difference, at least in the past, is that Robinson's runs are more designed runs. Miller seemed to run on passing plays more. And I think that he ran too much. Against a good defense, he won't get many running yards that way. I think with experience will come better pocket presence.

He did look very good for his first start. But he has a long way to go.

Braxton is going to have to continue running aggressively, he just needs to try and avoid going airborne. The team needs his elusiveness going forward as the games are only going to get harder. I honestly can't believe how exciting both Jordan Hall and Braxton Miller are to watch in the open field, it looked as if colorado defenders wiffed on Braxton 30+ times. I wonder what was going on with the rotation of his passes in the first half, because almost every pass came out with horrible rotation (was he nervous, was he not able to grip the balls). He was able to spin it a lil better in the second half when the coaching staff gave him some consecutive pass plays and the game was out of reach. Right now it just appears as if he just needs feel the pressure a little better in the pocket and keep his eyes down the field a little longer before he takes off running. He had a chance to hit Hyde when there was no one within 15 yds of him and Braxton couldn't deliver a good ball because he was a little antsy and couldn't get his feet under him.

He is rough around the edges, sure, but not only was this his first start, but his first week at getting the majority of reps in practice.

I hope he continues to improve, because he's going to be a beast in a way that few OSU QBs have been.

Good game, and I look forward to rooting for you more in the future, Braxton!

I liked the fact that Braxton seemed to get better as the game went on. That bodes well for further adjustment and improvement. Again I wasn't that impressed with the receivers. Still too many drops and not looking soon enough and silly crap like that.

He made a lot of people miss dancing around, but I still like a more north - south running style, when he has too. I would like to have seen Kenny G come in at the end of the game as it appears that he would be a more seamless replacement than Joe. I want to see what Kenny can do.

Very obvious that the coaches said - One read, then run.

Which I'm totally fine with at this juncture, unless Brax isn't also told to freaking SLIDE. Absolutely do not want to see him used like Denard in Year 1 and Year 2 of their careers.
