WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion)

He has an absolute cannon and has awesome accuracy for a high schooler. There was one throw on that highlight that I couldn't believe he made. Not even the camera guy could keep up with it. And to do that in the conditions he was playing makes it even more impressive.

Possibly a beastlier Troy Smith? Not out of the question. The future is bright my friends.

I was thinking that or a version of Tyrod Taylor from vatech....either way Braxton has a TON of upside and I cannot wait to watch him suit up for the Buckeyes

Wow. Braxton is GOOD. He's more decisive than TP already.

One of the things that impressed me from the Championship game. He made quick decisions on run or pass without showing a bias for either.

I never knew he was so fast until that eds game. He looked alot like Denard Robinson.

Please try to find someone from another school for your comparison. If I start seeing references to Braxton Miller as the next "Shoelaces" I will be sick.

His accuracy on the run is what impressed me most. He threw a great deep ball at the end of the game where the reciever steped out too and a great pass down the middle on the move on the last drive that weren't on the video.

What % would everyone put on the chance of him redshirting?

In terms of arm talent, and athletic ability, I think he compares to Mike Vick. He is much more dynamic that Tyrod IMO. His arm much stronger than hairlace too...

I think he's somewhere between Hercules and Jesus, with a little bit better mobility, strength and ability to turn water into wine.

I agree with this... The Vick comparison is dead on.

He is more like Mike Vick than any of the other comparisons. Not saying that he will be the Next Vick but that's his style. He's got a cannon, and the speed and moves/change of direction like Vick. Vick is/was probably faster though. And you saw the accuracy on the over the shoulder touchdown. He's already so much more decisive with both the pass and the run than TP. He isn't afraid to run or take contact. He just goes. He takes off up the middle and his vision as a ball carrier is also Vick-like. The only thing that can hold him back from being a VERY special player for us is injuries or work ethic.

Great comparison. It's scary to think about that though and you don't want to put the expectations too high on a 18 year old. But there are no ceilings for this kid.

Also we've heard great things about his presence in the huddle. Very encouraging.

We are so very lucky! GO BUCKS.:osu::oh::io:

I don't know about Vick, I have been more of the opinion that he will end up developing more along the lines of Steve McNair....

Vick was a freak, but he was more like Robinson than Brax will be even early on.....

BTW I think the chances of him redshirting his freshman year is about 99.99999%, only barring a complete injury catastrophe will he see the field except in practice.

I'd have to agree but if someone was willing to lay 10000:1 odds on a vbet I could throw some money at the other side. :paranoid:
