The intangibles of Evan Spencer combined with a higher ceiling? Yeah, I'll take it.

Plus, everyone says he crushes on the recruiting trail and will be a leader in this class.

We are truly spoiled as Ohio State fans.

Ready for some good news on this one. It just hit me but he reminds me of Michael Floyd (former Notre Dame WR) quite a bit. Would love to see similar results from him at the next level.

Great comparison, and I'd also add that he resembles Mike Thomas in play, IMO. All 3 being sure handed WRs with very good size and leaping ability, and good enough speed. They won't be blowing by DBs, but they'll move the chains and out leap a number of DBs, and if a defense breaks down, they can take it to the house. Perfect compliment for our athletic QBs when plays break down you have a guy you can depend upon to reel in the ball

If anyone has noticed, Mack's speed often negates angles the defensive has on him. I think he definitely is in the 4.4 range.

I'm thinking in the 4.5 range, you're forgetting he's playing IN caliber competition, not exactly the best. In camps I haven't seen him pull away from any top rated DBs. Not a slight, as he isn't needed for his speed but Moreso his hands and ball skills

Perhaps, but I don't think he is exactly 100% either. He is coming off of a torn labrum injury and I heard he was just healthy enough to participate in camps.

Very similar in play, I was just thinking the size in addition to game play. But I am with you 100%, he has some big play potential but we have so many "home run" threats that what he brings to the table is invaluable in my eyes. He can be a great blocker down field (we don't have to think back far to remember how valuable Evan Spencer was there), he can hit the short to intermediate routes, and be an excellent leader. Those are just things on top of his immense talent. As the year has gone on, I started seeing exactly why he was our top target at WR. He is Zach Smith's dream of a WR prospect and I really think he will flourish here. Cannot wait to see Mack on campus.

So if Mack was our #1, who is our #2 in a class that will likely only have two WRs?
Shoot for the stars with #2.

Donnie Corely is probably going to MSU. Nate Craig-Meyers, Binjimen Victor or someone similar would be the top guys.

If they don't nab a big fish like that I think they will pass on a second WR in this class, especially with guys like McCall and Hill being potential crossover talents.
