My philosophy is that it is a concealed weapon. You would never know I had it on me unless I needed it and then you would probably be glad I had it. I would have no issues with shooting someone that threatened me. Perhaps that is topic for another philosophical thread. Could you? Would you?

Yes, it is the "moment of truth" that is the unquantifiable in the question. No matter how strongly, philosophically, one believes they would, it's impossible know one CAN until it happens in my opinion.

To protect a family member without any questions asked. Any other way hell no, which that's a harsh way to go. If anybody would like to die that way. There is plenty of gangs out there looking for new members.
