you mean mainstream moviegoers too stupid to notice quality and who line up in droves to see Titanic, Independence Day, and Pearl Harbor? Look at most weeks NY Times bestseller lists - does anybody intelligent ever buy most of those books. Whoopie! The latest Dr. Phil is out!

The worst movie I saw this year, and it was on DVD, was the one about wines. I cannot remember its name right now. It was good, but not the level I thought it would be. Plus, it was sooooo slow.

The worst movie I saw this year was The Aviator (on DVD) that was the slowest movie ever and I never want to see DiCaprio's ass ever again. I usually never see a movie until the second week it is out to see how it does in the theaters anything that bombs I'll wait for.

I just watched that last week and thought it was decent. I'm amazed that DiCaprio is a decent actor. Parts were very slow, but I watch most movies in fast forward.

The wife and I got the rare opportunity to go catch a movie and we saw Fun With Dick and Jane... it was pretty funny. Jim Carrey didn't over-act too bad and Tea Leoni was HOT.

My brother and I went and saw that new Australian horror movie...Wolf creek, Cold Creek, something like that.

Anyway, we could have taken a video camera out and done a better movie for about $15.00.

Sideways?
Agreed it was quirky, and slow at times, but in the end, I thought it was a good movie - just not as good as hyped. there was some great dialogue written into it.

Was the Texas Chainsaw Massacre re-make this year or last year?
that's easily the worst movie I've watched this year (on DVD).
Well, half of a movie, because it was so bad I couldn't take any more and turned it off.

I believe the movie was "Sideways" and yep it and Merlot sucks!!!!
