It's like they wanted to be creative by brewing a lambic, but only went halfway. I think they tried to be more consumer friendly and really tone down the sourness of a true lambic so it wouldn't be too offensive to the typical american palate. Instead they made a watered-down pseudo lambic that doesn't even taste like they used a Brettanomyces yeast strain. I'd stick to a traditional lambic from Cantillon or Boon, or if you like something sweeter go with a fruit lambic from Lindemans.

It's very sweet for a lambic and I think the Belgians look down at this beer as an "Americanized lambic".
