The ball is bouncing high in all of the games. It's tough to connect on long balls due to the liveliness of the bounce off the turf.

No way does Green start their next game after that soft goal.

The field is playing ridiculously fast.

They need to tone down on the pre-game watering. JMO.

US defenders need to not overcommit so much. Clark f'd something up like I thought he would. Time for Jozy to get about 20 more minutes, move Dempsey up top and put Holden in the midfield.

Also, I have to say that Green's blunder was so typically 'England.'

Too bad I'm afraid that the Three Lions are about to just go wild in the 2nd half. :paranoid:

Really though, USA had a stupid lapse in judgment 4 minutes in, looked intimidated and still played pretty evenly for the middle 30 minutes of the half. I'll take it.

I think this one could stay tight now, after Green's gaffe got our boys back in it. That was enormous.

The longer it stays tied, the more the pressure builds on the Brits. If Green is still in there, get as many shots as possible and see if he cracks.

OT: Jimmy Kimmel sporting a CLUB TRIL shirt in a promo. :)
