I feel just the opposite. The caliber of passing in the World Cup is remarkable.
A connoisseur's point of view perhaps, but a point well taken ("Jane, you ignorant slut..") Why not just open the goal mouth by a foot all around and leave the rest of the game alone? Or why not allow striking the ball with the hand or foot count or throwing the ball with one hand? Heresy?
