Just watched the game again. Did anyone notice Borland clapping during the first offensive series? Could that have been happening throughout the game for the offsides?


I saw it during the game. It was the reason for a couple of early offsides.

At one point you saw Urban yelling in at Braxton "thats on you" meaning he considered it Millers fault for letting it happen. Brax went to the silent snap/hand wave thing for a while and that was that. Borland never did it again.

You have to think in all the years he's been running that offense, this isn't the first time some clever pumpkiner started clapping on defense and that Urbs has a plan in place for when they do.

What concerns me the most is that we usually do two claps and the ball is snapped 1/2 a second after the 2nd clap. How defenders haven't jumped the snap yet is beyond me though. It seems regular enough that I would at least try it.
