Was just about to start a thread on this.

Downloaded it last night and after I installed it, it crashed my computer.

Computer will only now start up in Safe Mode and I had to do a system restore this morning before leaving for work.

Anyone else have this problem.

The Service Pack 2 never did download correctly for me.

Same thing, installed last night, went to bed, just sat on the starting windows XP screen, had to boot in safe mode and uninstall. Hope this fucking thing doesn't get forced by automatic updates, that would suck for my remote users, I can stop it at the office using WSUS though.

I actually just got a new IBM laptop about a half year ago and REFUSED to get vista...I'm not a fan of it at all

EXACT same thing happened to me.

Just sat on the Windows start up screen and when I tried system restores from as far back as 2 months, none of them worked.

Most likely you have an AMD processor running an OEM image if you're experiencing problems.

I guess you two did not read the first post in the Maintaining Complete Control thread. This was the very first post I read when I discovered Buckeyeplanet. I didn't even realize there were other forums.

I just updated my computer, and it worked like a charm...It did take a while to update, but that's expected. So far so good!!
