Winter Workouts Reports

More:
Not too much has happened the last two days.

Jake Stoneburner was visiting today, the coaching staff seemed to pay quite a bit of attention to him.

Brian Robiskie has looked outstanding during all of Winter Workouts, I am looking for big things out of him this year.

A lot of guys are nursing injuries and not participating (Boone, Schoenhoft, Henton, C. Wells, Browning)

Russell is not full go yet, but is starting to participate in more and more drills.

Greetings Grad, without disclosing any HIPPA violating info  could you elaborate on the serious or not so serious nature of the aforementioned injuries? Just the normal workout muscle memory pulls and pains or a bit more? Obviously Anderson Russell is major recovery, but the rest...

I'm waiting on clarification bro...I asked the same thing. When I get it, I will definitely let everyone know.

However, I'm assuming it is small strains and pulls....

I spoke with a well known defensive player recently and he told me that as of right now Boeckman has the inside edge on the starting QB gig. At the tackle spot it's looking like Denlinger and Lawrence Wilson. He also expressed great happiness they are done with the 6 AM workouts tomorrow. He said that they are the hardest thing that he's ever gone through in his athletic career..... FWIW

Wow, Denlinger and Wilson, I expected Denlinger, but Wilson comes as a bit of a shock to me if true.

Trust me, this is from a very reliable source. Wilson has really beefed up from what he said. Also, Rose isn't going to be moving inside (as of right now). He's still going to be at end.

Man.. a line of Gholston-Denlinger-Wilson-Rose... has some pretty nasty potential... Dare I say, if they all stick around for 08.. they could make a serious run at the 02 Dline.. which was one of the best I've ever seen at OSU

I kind of like the idea of Wilson moving inside. It gives us more athleticism at the tackle position like we saw from Florida in the championship game. I think that Florida game might have influenced a move to smaller but more athletic tackles, kind of like the Florida State Sugar Bowl opened the coaches eyes to the fact we need to rotate more guys in on the line.
