Winning Percentage 90-07

For that matter, every range ending with 2007 and starting with the years 1992-1997 had OSU at #1. Before that, in 1991; FSU was #1, OSU was #2 and Florida #3.

Gee, I wonder why 1990 was chosen?

You'll have to ask the guy who compiled the stats why that year was chosen.

I simply saw it on another board, and as it was both Uf and tOSU related, cut/paste/posted it here.

I didn't realize that my post padding effort was really another example of the man keeping you down.:tongue2:

It can't be a coincidence. You didn't bend over backwards to show Ohio State in the best possible light. On this board that fact alone is sufficient to prove a conspiracy, even when only one person is involved.

I keep telling you, I wasn't involved. And despite the site user agreement, I had an oral understanding with important BP admins that they'd waive the penalties if I was ever found to have conspired with myself. :paranoid:

Interesting to note that from 1990 to 2008, Ohio State was .733 under Cooper, but .820 under Tressel. Florida was .813 under Spurrier, .621 under Zook, and .795 under Meyer. The point I'm trying to make is that both schools had coaches that significantly underperformed compared with their predecessors and/or successors, yet still remain at the top of the list.

That's pretty remarkable, when you think about it. Both schools have had periods of 'under achieving' (hard to call .733 under achieving, but it really was) yet still have won frequently enough to remain at the top. I find that very telling.

Before you label the Zook years as "underachieving" be sure to look at UF's record BEFORE Spurrier.

They're the Wisconsin of the SEC.

Speaking of remarkable, look where Nebraska is despite the disaster of the last few years.

It's great to see that even with a strategic advantage an awakening of the echo's appears to be at least four or five years out.... if the echo hasn't completely faded away by then. One of life's better spans.
