Just to sum this thread up:

The refs suck. The announcers suck. Pittsburgh fans suck.

I think I've got it now.

Detroit sucked in the 3rd.

Marian Hossa hasn't done a damn thing to warrant his $7 million a year that he supposedly took less to get to this point in the Season with the Wings.

Jiri Hudler looks nervous.

Mikeal Samuelsson looked nearly dead in the 3rd because he has the flu.

You missed a couple.

Oh and Lidstrom cut his nutsack on his cup

Forgot a few:

Chris Kunitz went Chris Pronger on johan Franzen's head.

Sergei gonchar nearly cut Zetterberg in two with a crosscheck.

Johnathan Ericcson just played the worst game I've seen from him in these playoffs.

Hall Gill is an overly aggressive pylon. If the Wings could play the puck around him instead if right at him, maybe they'd draw a penalty or two.

Let's see here....

Mark Messier is looking more and more like proof that aliens are inter-breeding with humans.

Not having to listen to Pierre tonight was a relief for both sides I'm sure.

Sometimes the versus camera angles sucked.

I'm sure there are a few others I could come up with.....

But notice I'm NOT whining about Cleary being dragged down in front of the Pittspuke net. That would be too much like Penguins fans.

Detwat fans did a good job of imitating Pittspuke fans tonight.

Pens looked pretty good, aside from the second and late in the third. Fleury looked better. Offense was creating chances and they actually capitalized on a few. Orpik needs to stop going to the blue line in the defensive zone to finish checks. It gives the forwards in the corners WAY too much room to create chances, and they've capitalized on those chances twice in two games. Hal Gill is certainly almost as worthless as a d-man can be, but he's at least playing better than he has all playoffs. Not saying much.

I was going to edit, but fuck it.

Barnaby and Steve Levy are talking on ESPN about how Crosby needs to step up, and that he looks hurt.. he's not playing well, whatever. I think he's playing fine. He needs his fellow linemates to create more space for him and finish their chances. He's set them up for great chances in every game of the finals, they just haven't capitalized. He's still tenacious with the puck/behind the net. Not having points does not = playing poorly.

ESPN only has a couple of minutes to even discuss hockey in the middle of 10 minutes of WebGems. The only players they know are Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin and Sean Avery. Since only one of those players are still alive, they have to talk about him. He has no points. ESPN viewers have short attention spans. Ergo, Crosby's playing poorly.

Fantastic analysis if you ask me. Pulitzer Prize winning commentary.
