Well. It was traveling to the west coast(Washington, Oregon and Utah)t where Covid is still a huge problem that makes a difference between traveling in the Big footprint. Those are long air trips in confined spaces.I don’t really see where only traveling in conference is any different than traveling elsewhere.

Travel is travel....
There are a few differences
- For the B1G non-conference travel is in September and conference travel is mostly later
- In reducing the number of games played, it allows them to delay the start (point 1) OR to play a game or two and then pause for two weeks to assess
- For conference games you can have standard practices that simplify logistics and the conference has complete visibility and control of every game. For non conference games there is less visibility and control (especially on the road) and policies have to be worked out and agreed to at least once for every conference you deal with
- Not sure if it simplifies liability-waiver aspects of contracts or not, but I am more inclined to trust a conference wide liability waiver than to trust BG or Buffalo to not complicate things if one of their players gets a runny nose after playing at the Shoe
- By making the decision as a conference, it probably strengthens each teams ability to employ the Force Majeur (sp?) clause to get out of their non-conference contracts. Probably won’t end up mattering as most conferences end up following suit.
Yes, those are all valid points regarding the season. Traveling to Oregon By plane is probably the biggest issue in non conference. Teams will have to travel to play and whether it’s in a plane or a bus, it’s still in a confined space. Will they be able to travel a team and social distance? Will they maybe reduce the amount of players that travel? There are a few differences

I think flying on a charter among teammates who've been tested intensively is as different from standard commercial flights as checkers is from dueling howitzers.I don’t really see where only traveling in conference is any different than traveling elsewhere.

If Bowling Green has the balls to sue us, I truly hope that they will never be invited back to Ohio Stadium.
Nah ... just invite them back and pay them like $20... then kick the shit outta them
