Pretty clear that he should be Illinois' top choice. Just wait. You'll see.
With all that talent? Dude could win even a 16 team playoff in less than 2 games.

I forgot about Jimbo, you're correct. Didn't realize Bert held that title. I can understand it from a stability standpoint regarding recruits. If you're a "top tier" school in a power 5 conference, I would think it would be something you want to be cautious with. You never know who may come available when you need them most (i.e. Urban Meyer/Ohio State). I realize those opportunities are very uncommon, but still.Jimbo fisher was head coach in waiting under Bowden. I believe Bert was under Barry Alverez as well.
Bingo - count on itSeems like a ready-made replacement for Mark Snyder at Aggy.
ignoring the things he's said about Urban after taking over the Florida program.......still no chance in hell.I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but the thought crossed my mind.
If Fickell decides he's up for a HC gig elsewhere and Muschamp is still on the market. Does he fit in Columbus?
Pure hypothetical.
So the Cawks have just given up on football, then? Will Muschamp to interview at South Carolina

If USC hires Muschamp, it could add a new meaning to "sloppy seconds" in the SEC.
“I feel like, if I’d hired Kurt in my first year at Florida, I’d probably still be there. That’s the confidence I have in him and moving forward,” Muschamp told SiriusXM College Sports Nation
