Will Boeckman be Benched?

As much as ive always said TB needed to improve more than he has, He isnt the only one to blame. Our O-line & D-line need serious improvement. I seen that comming as the lineman struggled against Ohio, i was just hoping they were all looking ahead..

Count me in as one who thought there was virtually no chance he'd be benched barring injury, but now see it as a real possibility. His confidence is gone and doesn't appear to be coming back. Real shame. He's a class act and a Buckeye to the bone.

Not time to jump ship off of Boeckman yet. If he doesn't produce a whole lot against Troy, then maybe try TP in there against Minny to start.

Coaches need to get some good and LONGER passing plays in there for TP, he has the ability, let him use it.

I wouldn't call this a meltdown at all. Simply taking the facts as they are and looking at the options. Bottom line is that TB has not been a very good QB for the majority of the past 28 quarters of football. I was as behind him as much as anyone coming in, but we're not seeing any improvement. Right now, the offense just looks more dynamic (or at least potentially) with TP at the helm. Opinions are fine, so long as it doesn't stoop to bashing, which I'm not seeing a lot of outside of a couple idiots in the game thread.

This is true, but he hasn't shown that ability in a long, time. He makes the same mistakes and still just doesn't get the job done when pressured. We've seen it for too long. It's unfortunate, and I hate saying it, but it's simply true.

No one expected it to go down like this? Think again. My head took USC and laid the points while my heart hoped the Bucks would take my vcash.

I was hoping it wouldn't go down like this, but I suspected it would. It did.

The notion that we should consider starting the top QB recruit in the country isn't a "meltdown". It's a rational summation of our condition. We're a notch below the elite now - we've seen this 3 times in 20 months - and we need to look at our options. Pryor is one of those options. That's not a knock against anyone. It's simply being open-minded to the situation.

I said it in the game thread and I'll repeat it here: When the play of the QB makes it harder for the other players on the team to do their jobs, it's time for a change. I wish it wasn't true, but I think that time is fast approaching. He just hasn't been the same since that disastrous finish the the MSU game last year.
