Why will America loose the world cup? Because we just don't care as much as the rest of the world. The same theory is true for scUM loosing to tOSU.

Here is another fun thread for a slow football time. I have been doing some numeric research on the Ohio State and Michigan roster and I have a theory why OSU will dominate this series for years to come. Michigan has 110 players on their roster and only 49 kids from Michigan. OSU has 112 players on their roster and 88 kids from Ohio. The Ohio kids were raised from birth with the appropriate hatred for Michigan, their ugly helmets and all they stand for. scUM has to try to teach this feeling to their players without even a majority of their roster who understand. I'll pick the kids have bled scarlet and grey all their lives over a bunch of temporary weasels. If you look at the number of Ohio kids and scUM vs the number of Michigan kids at tOSU you will see similar startling statistics.

Those are some nice numbers, but you're leaving out the 9 Ohio players on scUM's team. That brings the number to 58, which is above the halfway point in players that were raised on tOSU-scUM rivalry. Still, nice numbers, but a faulty theory. This rivalry isn't the biggest in all sports, just because of Ohio and tsun. It's the biggest, because everyone knows about it, and knows the passion behind it.
