What the hell does "drunk" mean? Does it mean falling down and doing stupid things and having your friends pissed off a you the next day-no, I certainly haven't done that in awhile. That said, beer tastes good, you actually enjoy dancing, sometimes you get in a partying "zone" and it is great. I save 90% of my drinking for the weekends, w/ friends. I might have a cold one w/ dinner, but that is pretty much it for the weekdays.

NDChief-for being an Irish fan you sure as hell haven't had much experience w/ Catholic schools and fish fires and such.....

No, just started a thread with an honest question that turned into a tough guy wanna be slam thread. Then the wanna-be's started the usual dinging without signing them which really showed what pansies they are.

So then I get warned because pansies like you Tibor have no balls.....

Ya know chief I've noticed in a lot of your threads/posts that when someone slams your ass for something, no matter what it is or what the reason is, you always seem to come up with this thought or idea that the person is trying to be a "tough guy" or act like one. What is it with you and the tough guy thing? It could simply be that you said something that sounded stupid or lame to them and they slammed your ass for it. It has nothing to do with anyone trying to be a "tough guy". Get over it.

Skins - Good question! This one was because some of these so called tough guys as I say think that just because they drink beer and I dont that makes them a man and me a wimp. While in the same breath many of them dinged me without signing it which shows me who is the real wimp. It is easy to hide behind a computer and act tough which many here do. I have sort of showed what kind of person I am ie. kids , mother n-law, drinking etc. only to ridiculed by guys that think they are better than me because they drink beer etc. I (TRY) to live my life with one ideal, always TRY TO DO THE RIGHT THING! If that makes me a wimp well so be it. Having said that bitching about dings is probably not the right thing to do! LOL!!

But mostly the tough guy thing is that most of these guys say things on this board that they would never have the balls to say to anyones face. Heck most dont have the nads to sign a ding! LOL!

After all this no one has really answered my question as I honestly dont get the point......

Dude- Its got nothing to do with beer... you said "those orange creme margaritas." I gotta be honest... I don't even know what the fuck that is... but... it ain't real manly now is it?

Beer on the other hand isn't necessarily manly... but I really put that more in tha category of OJ and coffee... Staple beverage.... goes great with any meal.. makes me sleepy after 9 though... gotta bust out the bourbon.

Honestly, if you don't like to get drunk.. you don't... if you never have been... well, I'd say you're a control freak and probably need to loosen the fuck up... it part of growing up IMO. If you have been wasted and didn't like it... fine... I almost cut my finger off once... I didn't like it... so I've tried to stop doing that...

Anyway this is the worst thread ever... I can't even beleive we're having this discussion.

I drink to relax. I love drinking a couple beers after a round of golf. or pounding a few during a game of hold'em. plus I play better when I'm not seeing straight.

I'm not trying to take sides here, but it is ridiculous to slam a guy for not being a drinker. it has probably saved him from doing alot of stupid things. at least i know I've done alot of stupid things while being drunk. plus a non drinking friend can always be the DD.

then again on the other hand. friends don't let friends drink alone.
