And you are right I do not party alot but I do have friends that I/we (the wife and I ) hang out with and we still have a great time. I simply dont get the point but not one person has has the balls to say why they do or why it is a good idea. Well maybe except Alan.....

Chief, I've never been drunk so can't comment on that - tried to try it once and at tipsy decided it wasn't for me. But you can't tell me that you could possibly have been sober when you wrote THAT and not expect to catch all sorts of crap over it. Not even I would admit to such pansy drink preferences.:p

Then some candy-ass dings me for this thread when all I asked was why? As for my opinion of the beer thing IMO some guys like beer which is fine and I have no problem with that at all heck I wish I did like the stuff. But then there are the guys constantly talk about drinking, beer, getting drunk etc. well that is a tough guy act for guys that are pansies or have no life......

Deety! LOL! Yeah I was sober and yeah they may be pansy drinks and I can admit that because I have no probelm with my man-hood! LOL!!!

So what does a guy drink that is not beer, not that strong and tastes ok? BTW I have been to a liquor store 2 times in the last 10 years so it's not like I am an expert on these things.

even you might be able to stomach that....:wink:

you drink 3-4 of them each (you and your wife) and you will be amazed at how much better you both are in bed......

Uh oh, looks like it's time for a NDChief dinging party. You know the rules, no whining about dings. :wink2: For the record, I'm kinda with chief, I don't really care for drinking, xcept I love appletinis, they are just divine. I like to drink a few of them and then watch Richard Simmons tapes. I try to avoid the orange creme margaritas though, everytime I have one I wind up dancing on the bar singing Village People songs.

I like the taste of a cold beer. I like the feeling I get after drinking several cold beers.

I know some people that drink Cranberry and Vodkas. If you get a flavored vodka you wont taste a thing.
White Russians are also good, but dont drink too many.
Stick with stuff like Kahlua and Baileys Irish Cream. Both of those taste great, with no alcohol taste at all.
Beware with all sweet tasting liquors, too much and youll hate yourself the next day.
In honor of this thread, I need a glass of whiskey.

I admitted I was powerless over alcohol--that my life had become unmanageable.

Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, I try to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all my affairs.

From my junior year in high school until several (5-6) years past college, I drank like a god-damn fish. Especially at OSU. By then I'd learned how to study and still leave time for partying, and my buddies and I really did it up right.

I drank because:
I like the taste, especially a good, cold beer.
I had fun getting drunk, laughing, goofing off.
Good way to unwind after a week (or day).

Odd thing is, I got hangovers. Constantly. Real bad ones. And it never stopped me from drinking again several days later.

Now, however, I don't get drunk. Maybe a bit tipsy now and then, but not drunk. I'm too old to do that shit and still be able to get out of bed in the morning. My last nasty hangover was Nov. 1st, 1997.

I had fun. Hell, if it works for you for whatever reason, then knock yourself out.
