Who's your X-Factor for the NC game?

Getting the Refs to call a fair game is really the X-Factor. Will Vern actually get some love for being held? I think that's what it comes to. The Zebras are my X-Factor.

It's a good point but not only about holding calls but blowing the play dead when a fumble occurs, happened against Illinois in Columbus and TO Illinois in the Rose Bowl.

im new to the thread and just wanna shout out all my buckeye fanatics out there...so here is what needs to be the x-factor this year

the o-line without a doubt...we need to have time for plays to develop, especially if we want to try some trickeration...also a good point was brought up that we need to establish beanie and the rush attack as well and certainly not shy away from it if we face an early deficit...all year we have depended on the running game when we were in adverse conditions (wisconsin, illinois, and obviously michigan with the bad weather)

with all of that said we need to come out focused and determined as well and not let the media try and swarm our heads about what happened last year or how the sec is the greatest conference ever and all that other talk...I know Tressel and the vest will have our boys motivated and when they play like they are capable, tough team to beat...LET'S GO BUUUUUUUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but 1) are you Lou Holtz? and 2) was that the pregame pep talk given by Lou Holtz?

MoW. I see him getting at least a few carries or tosses on key downs, i.e. 3rd and 5 here and there. Not to mention, we can use him to shake things up, kind of like having a second QB in (I still don't think we use Henton). Just him being in there and getting maybe 4 or 5 good runs of 4+ yards should change the pace enough to make a big difference, and hopefully some key first downs.

I have a feeling about Saine. I'm guessing Tressel has at least a few "special" plays with his name on them.

We have seen Tressel call the wheel route with Saine running out of the FB position. I doubt Les Miles is smart enough to get his team prepared for it.
