UBet might be able to speak more to this - but if things go sour with Coach BOOM at UF, CDM is likely #1 and #1A choice to replace.

Going to throw this out there. BigWoof31 is not going to like it but if I'm Penn State....I throw everything I got at Mark Richt. The guy is a class act. He doesn't over-recruit. From all accounts the Georgia fans (not all) were at the gates with torches and pitchforks early/mid season. Rumors were even floating around Richt was going to step down earlier in the season. All that being said.....Georgia will probably pony up and do whatever it takes to keep him around.....for now.

Which is precisely why he should want nothing to do with Penn State. That, plus it's a lateral move at best. Actually I'd argue it's a step down.

At least a candidate like Mullen would be making a step up. In a division with Les Miles, Bobby Petrino and Nick Saban coaching those programs at or near their full potential, the best he can hope for at Miss Stake is to battle Auburn for 4th place. They don't have the infrastructure to do any better.

Eh, they're both second-tier schools who puff out their chests when they do their best--10-2. Who cares?
