The only team that will finish with only one loss is the OSU/scUM loser. All others will have more than one, except Rutgers, which will have one only. I say the OSU/scUM loser (in other words, scUM).

I my opinion it should be rutgers. I know they probably are not considered a worhty opponet. But they are undefeated and in a BCS confrence. More than likely though if Floride wins out it will be them.

The computers love Michigan...when they lose next week, the computers will keep them 2nd. They will be in the mix of 1 loss teams in the human polls, but each individual vote you get counts in the human polls. I think some voters will keep them 2nd or 3rd, others will drop them to 4th or lower...so even though they may be 4th overall, and somebody else 2nd, I don't think the number of votes will be that great between them, so I likely see it coming down to computers...therefore Michigan will get the nod and get a rematch.

I wouldn't want to have to beat them again...but I think it's very likely. Plus...they can't do worse than 11-1. All those other teams have good chances of losing another game anyway.

I think a 1-loss TSUN team will drop below a 1-loss USC in every computer, and below a 1-loss Florida in most of them.

New AP and USA polls are out. Arkansas jumped all the way to 5/6. At 7/8 and behind the big four no way does Rutgers make the game.

At this point if it is not USC/ND or Florida/Arkansas it will be the loser of OSU/Michigan. It may be them anyhow depending on how the game plays out.

Whoever attributed for 8 votes down for Arkansas is wastin' their vote more than likely. For them to get in, Florida would have to lose (Which is possible), USC would have to lose to Cal, ND would have to lose to USC, and now it looks like Rutgers would have to lose 1 more according to the BCS standings. Oh yeah, and thats also assuming they won't get snubbed by the loser of the OSU/Michigan game (It would be a late loss to come back from, but if the game is close I doubt voters will hurt the loser too much. They'll hurt them enough to probably stay out of the NC game though).

why

Why should it be Rutgers? Just because they are undefeated? no way. A lot of teams who have lost out have gone undefeated.

Because they would be one of two undefeated teams in the BCS conferences. The only other time an undefeated BCS conference team has been shut out has been when there are 3 or more undefeated BCS conference teams.
