Who is your least favorite Buckeye of all time (not counting MoC)?

let me try to recap why this thread sucks and why it HAS to be sent to dante's level 5.....

-nothing wrong with saying so and so should have made the catch....or so and so is having trouble with the speed rush....or so and so is getting beat on the out and go....that is constructive criticism...

-nothing wrong with saying so and so should not have gotten a dui...etc...etc....etc...that is stating the obvious....

we are not asking that there is ZERO criticism towards players......

-its not so much about specifics as it is about the general focus of "so and so sucks" that bothers me....

what bothers me is when posters are hammering the maurice hall's of the team.....guys that are playing with great pain....with two bum knees and are doing so for the good of the team....they are leaving their heart on the field....but the boards are ripping them apart....

thats whats wrong......and thats the slope a thread like this leads to......

simply...the planet should make every attempt possible to refrain from hammering these kids.....

I got lucky. In September 2002, I was still in Minnesota and I requested vacation for thanksgiving week. At the time, I even thought, "Eh, if it's for the big ten title I can go to the scUM game". At around 7 PM the saturday before, they beat Illinois. Within an hour, I had a bid on ebay for the ticket. Flew into Pittsburgh on Friday evening, woke up at 6 AM on saturday and drove to Cowtown and tailgated with some of my friends. Great day.
I also went to the game at Wisconsin in 2002. And the one at Minnesota in 2001. Those 3 are the only ones I've been to since I left Cowtown.

Dihard - Absolutely correct here. What irks me is when I'm at the Shoe and I hear many thousands of Buckeye fans boo a player for a mistake (or mistakes). I was raised to not boo hs or college athletes since they aren't getting paid (that is, making a living) to play the game. To this day I don't even boo the opposing team coming into the Shoe and that is really hard when that team is scUM.

As far as Nate Clements is concerned, IMO his behavior at UW was classless. It is not a valid reason IMO to say that UW danced on the O the year before so it was payback time. He could have been the bigger man but he stooped to the classless level of UW. And for his comments about Fletcher, well he talked the talked but couldn't walk the walk. It simply made him look foolish. But these trangressions don't come close, for me, to making him one of my least favorite Buckeyes.

Jamar Fletcher has played 41 games in the NFL, tallying 55 total tackles, and TWO(!) INTS...

Nate CLements has played 48 games in the NFL tallying 190 total tackles, 1 sack, 12 INTs, 27 pass deflections and three TDs...

in addition, Clements has returned 30 Kickoffs for 628 yards, a 20.9 yard average, and 22 punts (12 fair catch) for 238 yards (10.8 average) including 4 for 20+ yards and 1 TD in the '03 season...

if you think Fletcher is better than Clements, you are on crack.

That story is believable up to the point where you mention having friends.

"Least favorite" makes for the second most popular thread all-time on this board. After one about a fantasy league, this thread has drawn more posting than any other to date.

Not saying that's good, bad or in between. Just interesting.

Not surprising. I'm the straw that stirs the drink.
