Who is your least favorite Buckeye of all time (not counting MoC)?

*shrug* I'm not ashamed to say that there have been a couple former Buckeyes who I wish hadn't been. Zach Williams, for instance. Just because a guy wears scarlet and gray doesn't mean he can do no wrong.

Zach Williams transferred though. Those guys are a seperate category in my eyes too. I have no love for Jamal Muhammad, Ricky Bryant, Jaja Riley, or Austin Moherman. Of course, I don't particularly dislike them either.

But to start a thread ripping Nate Clements...I just don't get it. But apparently, only the person who started the thread does, and that's good to know.

As I said quite clearly, I don't dislike those guys, but I don't necessarily like them either. The commonality between them, which maybe if you weren't a um fan posting on an OSU board you would know, is that they all transferred.

the question was who is your least favorite. not who is your most hated. so it's really not THAT negative of a thread. :wink2:

I agree with tibs in that the excessive boasting of players during the cooper era was quite embarrasing. the one that takes the cake, however, is david boston taunting woodson with the score michigan 20 osu 7. it's great to see the change in the buckeyes, what with MJ's casual flip to the ref after Holy Buckeye and Tim Anderson congratulating ken dorsey before he even began to celebrate.

Actually, this is an interesting topic - genuine thanks to Tibor.

As far as players on the field, my least favorite was Steve Bellisari; close behind would be Stanley Jackson; both guys really hurt the Bucks with their play.

As far as bad image/attitude guys, my least favorites would be Ken-yon Rambo and Reggie Germany.

Of course, all of the true criminals (Marco Cooper, Andrew Lee, et al.) would make my list.

With regard to Nate Clements ... let's not forget that he had quite a bit to do with the Bucks' failure to win the NC in 1998 - Nate was the genius who let a shanked MSU punt hit him on the leg, which "muffed" punt was subsequently recovered by the Spartans. OSU was leading 24-9 at the time (mid-way through the 3rd quarter), and would have had the ball in MSU territory. Instead, the Spartans took control of the game, and OSU could never get back into it.

Also, I'll always have un-fond memories of Jerry Rudzinski failing to keep containment on the punt which Punk Woodson returned for a TD in 1997.

D. Morris and his attitude were nice to get rid of (I think the bigger problem was his dad though)... Nice to see the change from late 90's to now... although we had the talent, alot of our guys acted like they belonged with FSU's teams...

So now people are legitimizing this Clements bashing by saying he screwed up? So now not only do we require perfect little angels off the field, they must be perfect on the field too? And then you expect players to be loyal to the fans? Really?

Get over yourself. I don't necessarily agree with this topic, as it is simply Tibor stirring the pot, but you get so overwhelmingly defensive anytime anyone mentions anything negative at all about a Buckeye that I want to puke.
