We'll be getting our tree sometime this week hopefully, after I get paid.
Our apartment complex forbids real trees because apparently the people who live there are responsible enough to feed and raise children and pets, but can't be trusted to water a tree to keep it from catching on fire.
I guess if I end up starting a fire that burns down our building, I'll really seem like a dick.

I usually just wait until the neighbors throw theirs out and celebrate Christmas on January 3rd.
