I just watched this weeks Lost last night and liked it. Sawyer and Charlie are turning out to be evil. If Kate it still all over Sawyer's nuts after this week I'll be surprised unless she tries to play him to find the guns. I doubt anyone will mess with Sawyer now especially since he is a hell of a lot smarter than everyone thought he was. Can't wait till next week.
Lost is one of the top 15 rated shows on TV. No way they cancel it now. It would be nice if they would decide how much longer they want it to run and set the rest of the plot now. Abrams only seems to get 2-3 years out of a show before it goes down hill so I hope he doesn't try to keep Lost around too long. I think 2 more seasons would be enough to complete the plot. Alias has been mercifully cancelled after this season, which might be where the Lost cancellation rumors came from. There have been a few slow episodes of Lost this season, but I think it's been good overall. Last season was the same way.

Someone fill me in on what I missed last night. For some reason I thought last nights episode was gonna be a rerun and I went to the bar

Yeah, it was a re-run of the first episode, but this was a positive for me. As addicted to the show as I am, I never saw the first episode. It was nice to see things I had only heard/read about, such as the polar bear and the "monster" getting the pilot.
Of course, the black cloud being the monster is a real let down after the build-up of it on the first episode. Furthermore, can anyone tell me why Charlie hasn't told anyone else about Ecko's confrontation with the black cloud?
Next week's episode looks really good, at least from the previews, as we should finally learn what happened to Claire when she was kidnapped and they find another hatch!

I was surprised nobody talked about it yesterday. The large medical staff in the flashback for the then-pregnant Aussie woman was very interesting.

I just watched it last night on Tivo. Good episode. It was surprising to see "the others" beards and dirty clothes are fake. A lot more questions now. Was the guy who talked to Ethan in the hall the dude met up with Jack and the gang when they were looking for Michael?

yep... that was the same guy. At first I thought that maybe the others were into cloning or it was a twin but then they showed the fake beard and glue. And what's with the guy that they are holding prisoner at the hatch?? I think he's one of them.

Me too. That last little thing he said to piss Locke off assured me of that. If he was really who he said he was he would be trying to get along with everyone, not try to start a power struggle. Anyway Locke already got owned by Sawyer so he should think he is all that smart to begin with.

I think he's gotta be an other. But, I'm really just guessing - or taking what the Frech Chick had to say as the truth.
I don't know why they think if they do or don't find dude's baloon anything about his status as an other is solved. Suppose he's an other... couldn't he just say he was the guy who crashed in a balloon that, as an other, he knew existed?

In the previews that they showed for next week it has them looking up into a tree and there is what appears to be a balloon... I was thinking that same thing... he is one of the Others and knows the story of someone who crashed in that balloon.
I'm tired of all the Sun/Jin love story crap....
