I liked the episode last night... I wish it would have gone into more depth... at least now we know about the teddy bear from a few episodes ago when The Others walked by Echo and Jin and all we saw was thier feet and that bear.

I must admit, I was honestly surprised that Shannon is indeed dead.

So, what did we learn last night? The others had immediately (as in upon the crash itself) had a guy in each camp (Ethan and the dude who got the stick in the heart)

The other's think they're riding the world of bad people, and apparently are good at child rearing.

I don't think the others are getting rid of bad people... they were getting rid of the strong people that would be a threat to them... at least in the group of survivors from the tail of the plane.

And they decided to pick off the tail end people much faster than the original group.

Also, why didn't Ana and everyone hear Shannon yelling "Walt," which she was yelling up to the moment of getting shot. Instead, they were freaking out over the whispers (which I think Shannon and Sayid heard as well)

I didn't start watching till the end of last season so maybe this has been covered. But the fact that the knife that she found on the other girl was a U.S. Army Knife, that was about 20 years old or so according to ana).

Based on the previews for next week someone reconizes ana's name from the first group.

The tail end people might have been much closer to where the others live, which would explain why they picked them off first. They obviously want the kids pretty bad since they took Walt and tried to take the baby before it was born. Between the rain, the whispers, and running Anna might have just shot the first person she saw. It's a shame to kill off Shannon for Michelle Rodriguez's ugly ass.

I wissed last night's episode as well as the preview, but Jack (the doctor) way rewewber Ana. Flashbacks last season showed that he wet Ana at the airport bar before boarding the plane. The two flirted with each other, so perhaps Jack rewewbers her nawe.
