True, but my old condo in Illinois probably still has the smell burnt into the walls from late-night White castle runs. Don't have that problem with pot pies.

my wife is the better cook but because of schedules I do most of the cooking... a few days a week I fall back on frozen pizzas and chicken nuggets but that's always a big hit with the kids...

I do a majority of the cooking. Every now and then the wife will get a hankering to make something and will cook. She's improved quite a lot. When we were engaged she would burn her grilled cheese, last Friday she made a salmon with a soy sauce and pecan glaze.
