I cannot believe that they did it. I went into the game thinking that we had to sell out to stop the run becasue they will not out pass us. Who else was sitting there in the first quarter and the Berg up by 7 saying..."here it comes". I was just waiting for them to roll us with the ground game but it never happened. Smith had a great game, the LB run support was good. Kevin Kasefaharn (whatever) made some plays. A good job by a thin D. Turnovers were huge, even the ones we did not recover shook them up.

Who Dey!

15 years of frustration will finally end this season. I am glad for people like Willie Anderson and Rich Braham that endured the lean years.

Regarding the game, I hear Roethlisberger may have had a bad thumb.... geezus talk about an announcer pounding a topic into the ground.

I wholeheartedly agree. Guys like Anderson, Braham, Simmons, Rudi Johnson, Chad Johnson, and TJ Houswhatever have busted their asses for years, and it's great to see good things finally happening for them and the team.

Heh heh...somewhere Takeo Spikes is smacking his agent for letting him go to the Bills...

Agree that it's time to start looking at a bye. Right now the Bengals are tied for the 2nd best record in the AFC with the Broncos. The Bronco's own the tiebreaker right now with a better conference record. But if the Broncos lose one more conference game, and the Bengals don't...then that record would be tied too...so my question is, then what is the next tiebreaker, and who would get it?

A look at the two teams remaining schedules?

Benagls
Cleveland 4-8
@ Detriot 4-8
Buffalo 4-8
@ Kansas City 8-4

Total record 20-28

Broncos
Baltimore 4-8
@ Buffalo 4-8
Oakland 4-8
@ San Diego 8-4

Total record 20-28

Each team has pretty much the exact same schedule. The Bengals are going to need Denver to slip up to an AFC team. Or win out and have Denver lose to anybody.

It's very likely that both the Bengals and the Broncos will be 12-3 going into Week 17. Both will have road games against teams that will likey still be fighting for the playoffs. Week 17 will tell a lot! New Years Day! It's going to be one hell of a New Years weekend for football!

Good call JX....Way to break down the scenario.....I like the philosophy of Marvin Lewis...Take it one game at a time...kind of reminds me of JT in that sense....The only game the really scares me is at KC.....Denver should get beat at San Diego....Who knows...Maybe Baltimore will knock them off.....Anywho.......

Anyone else cathc the pre game for MNF? TJ, Jaws and Ditka had the Bengals as the second best team in the entire NFL behind the Colts. I was giddy.

TJ said that Carson would lead this team to multiple super bowl appearences.

I could not believe my ears. Freeken great to hear. Hope it is true.
