To answer your question RIB about Staples, I don't see any reason why he can't earn an offer, but if he does I think it will be a camp offer or a season offer, don't see anything coming early.

One guy that is getting a ton of hype, but I am really unsure on is Nigel Bradham?

Bradham is said to possibly be the top player in Florida next year FWIW...but on limited film he looks very tough. A pretty good list though...one objection I would have is no Kyle Long on the list. I've already said that I am not yet sold on Julio Jones as to being a top 10 player. I also think Brewster is the best OL in the country, but I can see that being debated. But overall, I think it looks pretty solid early on.

I know that is why I am so suprised after watching film. I would take Hale, Sweat, Major, and all the guys I have on my list over him...Maybe I am missing something, but I just don't see it.

As for no Kyle Long he has quite a bit of work do on his technique and next year is loaded with o-lineman. I would probably put him in the top 100 or just on the outside looking in...

IMO I think Shugarts and Adams are ahead of Brewster, but Brewster has that nasty in him, and will be dominant on the inside.

Video of Duane Long discussing the top 10 for Ohio High.

His top 10:

1. Mike Adams
2. DeVoe Torrence
3. Brandon Moore
4. Dan McCarthy
5. Nathan Williams
6. Cordale Scott
7. Justin Staples
8. Brandon Beachum
9. Jahmir Williams
10. Shaq Rowell

Should be interesting to see this list develop. I think the top 2 are going to stay the same all season, but I think guys like Rowell(weight) and Scott could very easily be top 5 players. I don't see Moore being rated that high, and I think Rudolph should be in the top 10 for sure if not top 5. Also still waiting to see film on Nathan Williams who everyone that sees him seems to high on him, but he hasnt really done a lot of interviews and hasnt really got his name out there.

I think he will eventually be in this class...

I would substitute Rudolph for Moore...no Rudolph is ridiculous. But Nathan Williams I think he is right on with...once he gets his film out, you will be very, very impressed. I am really surprised he doesn't have an offer yet. He was in our backfield more than our tailbacks.

Bill K's top 20 for Ohio.

Overall a pretty decent list, just don't think I would put Rudolph at the number 2 player in the state ahead of DeVoe and I think Scott is the better prospect between he and Posey and Scott has top 5 talent...

And the one ommission is Shaq Rowell...

Finally a list worth talking about...my thoughts:

I guess I am officially selling Sanders short because this is the ump-teenth time I have seen him rated far higher than I would have expected. I must be missing the boat on this one...I still see a kid who is a decent tackle in a passing offense, but will need a TON of work at the next level before scratching the surface of his potential...and I have never been a fan of rating a kid based almost entirely on potential.

Same goes for Rudolph...I think cbf40 is right. #2 might be a touch high.

I think wherever you rank Scott and Posey they have to be back to back. I could not tell you which one I would rather have right now.

I like Staples a bit more than Schneider at this point, but I like them both better than Zordich. Mike is a stud and the kind of kid you want to go to war with, but I think Staples will make a better college LB. Zordich is the last kid I would ever sell short but I could easily see him ending up as a Stan White H-back type fullback.

Rowell is one ommission I noticed...Jamiihr Williams was the other. That is the second time I have seen a list with him not being on there. As much as I must be rating Sanders too low, I must have Jamiihr too high.

I think with Sanders a lot of it has to do with him being an OT and the offers he is pulling in...

I would move Posey and Scott ahead of Stoneburner, and I would move Williams and Staples ahead of Schneider and Zordic.

I also think that Fred Craig, Jahmir Williams, and Isiah Pead should be on the list and Johnny Adams a little higher...

Marvin is a great QB, but Marvin needs to show and prove at the camps namely OSU camp. Though he may not come away with an OSU offer I guarantee he'll leave with many others. He will Camp at PSU and I think Wisc. At least that's what he told me. Wouldn't be suprised to see his name surface as an OSU recruit this summer.

Marvin Stewart will attend the scout.com all-american combine in cincinati tommorow as a QB. he was recommended by coaches as one of the to 150 prospects in the region.

I think Rudolph is a tad high but I think it would probably go: Adams, Torrence, Rudolph, Stoneburner, and then Posey, with a toss up between Stoneburner and Posey. Only reason I gave Stoneburner the nod was due to his height. Then I would have McCarthy, Moore, Zordich, Williams, and Beachum respectively.
