I thought that this poll was timely, in light of the fact that Ohio State has just lost the top in-state prospect for 2007.

This is a multiple choice poll.

EDIT: All rankings are from Rivals.com.

Primarily a lurker, but I'd thought that I'd jump in. I think that your point here is spot on LJB. We'll miss some top talent but life will move on.

I voted for Manningham and Boren. Manningham on proven results even though he was never in play for us, and Boren on potential. It's impressive when you see the playing time that he has as a freshman at a school the caliber of M. Legacy recruit for M and though things looked good early for the Bucks, the family tie to M was too much to overcome. Don't fault the coaches at all.

I don't regret losing any of them. The ones who want to become Buckeyes do and come here to play. The one who don't go elsewhere because they want to. They make their own beds and have to lay in them.
I want only those that want to be Buckeyes because we ARE t:osu: .
If they don't want to enjoy the status then so be it.
We will play and WIN with what we have.
GO BUCKS!!!

I could Not Agree More

I don't think for one second any of these guys are a total loss, someone stated that the ones who come here to play do, and then the ones who don't go elsewhere, that is so true... It takes a special type of athlete to come here and play for Ohio State, and you have to want to, and not get a Big Head, I won't mention any names (#13 (Clears Throat...))...

GO BUCKS!!!:osu:

With Quinn, I've always worried that Troy Smith would not have received the chances he has had Brady went here. We know who is better (Troy of course) but it is possible that Brady might have seen the field sooner and would have been tough to unseat.
