After reading up on Lyons little brother and his feelings on OSU, I would love for us to give some PT to some younger recievers to intice him a little bit. He feels that with his brother (redshirting this year) not getting much PT, he wont either if he comes here. So getting some fresh faced WR's out there is a must.

Also, I do stand corrected on Jamo - didnt know that he could hit so hard. I always saw him as a NB here at OSU and his weight made me think thats what he would stay at. Boy is a beast no matter the position. But I do think Lenix would be a pretty good Safety as well.

Wow, what a great thread. I hopre the green light is on early and often for our O. I hope we put a lot of points on the board going into Northwestern.

With that said, I hope, with a 35-0 halftime lead, either Justin or Todd will get the nod for the second half. I hope that both Wells and Haw get a least 8 carries each in the second half. With Santonio possibly leaving, we need to find a possession receiver that can run effective routes to take some pressure off of TGII next season. I would first like to see Robiskie given a shot. From what I've read, he's a hard worker, receives coaching well, and is surprisingly faster than initially thought. In my opinion, he could be another great productive WR. I would also love to see some flash from Dukes. We've all read about him, but he hasnt had an opportunity to show his skills on gameday.

From an offensive line standpoint, I hope some of our RS Frosh see action. With two spots to fill in two seasons (anticipating Datish moves over next season to open a tackle spot), a little PT can only help Person and Mithcum.

On the defensive front, we need to give Wilson and Barrow as much PT as possible. I believe Worthington still has RS potential. No reason to burn it on Illinois. We need WIlson and/or Barrow BAD next year with Kudla graduating. I'd also like either Nader or Cotton to get quality PT. WHichever one is performing in practice should get some PT. We will need to fill one more spot here too.

I hate to take Hawk out for a half, but we have to. I will cherish every play this young man is in for the next 4 games. We will truly miss this Buckeye great. I hope the staff mixes up LB'ing schemes with different prospects in order to evaluate how these kids play as a group. I would like to see Freeman (only if 100% healthy), D'Andrea, and Hoobler start off, with Kerr, Little Road Warrior and Terry getting mixed in.

This is just my take. Hopefully we will have the 35-0 halftime lead.

As others have pointed out, I think that developing a big enough lead to see mass substitutions and seeing what the wide receivers can do are mutually exclusive. If the Bucks open a big lead, the only thing we'll see the WRs do is block downfield for Wells and Haw.

Looks like all the Haw and Wells backers will get their wishes to some extent.

On the call in show yesterday JT straight up said that Wells would get more looks this weekend. Also, Haw is in his plans - but most likely being featured on special teams.

In thread unrelated news Barton and Everett both likely to see limited playing time.
