I was a service engineer/road whore for almost 8 years. It would be safe to say I "lived" in most states east of the Mississippi for a short while. I stayed in a Residence Inn in Birmingham Alabama for over a year. My office was in St Pete FLA and Atlanta GA. I had an arrangement with the manager of the Holiday Inn on Treasure Isle and stayed there on an off for years. It is funny when you walk up to the front desk and the entire staff knows you by your first name and knows what room you want..

When growing up we seemed to move at least every two years. I have lived all over Ohio, in WVA and AZ.

I now call LA home but I suspect that is not for the long term.

I think if you give it a chance most places have a community that you will fit in with. For me the exception is NYC.

Gee, why am I not surprised to see that you lived in Milford, the mangy dog capital of the midwest. :roll1:

I have to agree with Stoo on this one. Goshen is much more hillbilly than Milford. My Mom is a speach teacher in Goshen. and lets put it this way, she never has to worry about being put out of work. My dad used to work in Goshen to, the Grocery Store he managed......well lets just say her had to remind people allot of the whole no shoes, no shirt no service rule.

Milford has actually grown quite a bit, esp the miami township area which isn't know for a giant chicken, but is know for this idiot.

what's the story on the chicken?

It sits atop a restaurant named Ron's Roost in Bridgetown which is on the west side of Cincy. I hate the Cincy west side and the chicken really doesn't do anything but make me hate it more. Anyway, it's a west side fixture, and I have to reluctantly agree that their food is pretty good (my insane, West Side in laws love that place). However, they have quite a reputation with breaking health codes and labor laws.
