Where did you live on campus?

Freshman year on the 17th floor of Lincoln Tower

Sophmore Year on the 6th floor of Taylor Tower

Junior Year as an RA of Haverfield 2nd floor

Senior Year on N. 4th Street. I think it was 1690 N. Fourth Street between 16th and 17th. The two apts. next to ours were both broken into.

Yeah, it was....The only saving grace was that i had a great group of guys on Haverfield. And the room and board plus $75/month was paid by the university. Every little bit helps when you are paying for college.

I go way back to 81-82....As aside, Woody gave a speech to my guys on the 2nd floor. One of my floor mates (his Dad) was one of Woody's first captains and Woody would always make time for us. His speech was regarding how Haverfield dorm was named. It is named for Jimmy Haverfield who was the first OSU grad/student killed on Omaha Beach in WWII. Woody had us all spellbound as he talked for 30-40 minutes not mentioning football once. What a great role model!!!

95 e. lane was the mother of all party houses. When did you hang out there?
well i moved in across the street late 1993 and lived there till about 1995 i guess. and then even when most of the guys moved out, the place was still a party house and we still hung out. a few of the guys moved to 19th...right across the street from Ruby Tuesday's.

when were you there. i was good friends w/the guys that lived at 95 e lane. like Ryan Henke, ryan bryson, sean keith, Ush, mark wilson...did you know any of them? i was literally always there. i wasn't going to class much around this time, so i'd basically wake up, drag my ass across the street and chill out at 95 all day. man the stories i could tell.

but if you think 95 was the mother of party houses...like i said....this place on Neil and maynard was the real deal. what made 95 such a hardcore party place also was that it was 24/7. and yeah, i know that basically every place is...but this place was special and it was like there was no daytime or nighttime at 95, plus they had the cutest dogs over there.....at one point they had 12. 4 adults , which one of them (dingo) had eight puppies....

I lived on maynard... although i spent alot of time at papa joes before it burnt down

oh yeah that reminds me..i lived at 161 or 171 west maynard for my first summer after the dorms. I HATED it. my roomate was this weirdo from toronto (right near steubenville) and it was my first exposure to columbus when it kinda shuts down for the summer. i had no money, no girlfriend, etc etc...i really didn't enjoy that place. and my loser roomate refused to get cable tv t

the pool was OK though..

Yup, knew them all. I think you named everybody but Uz from the 93-94 crew. :) I was there a ton around 94-95, towards the end of those guys' run and into the next one.

Oh yeah, and my dog nailed Dingo, the little slut. :)

In a dorm that was originally an insane asylum... they moved the hospital across the street and sold the dorm to the school - or at least that's what I was told. :) Occasionally an outpatient would wander over to watch tv or fall asleep in a closet.

William & Mary, not tOSU, though. :)
