Really, you don't need a lot of recovery time. You do need to take "precautions" till you get your test of sperm count. :tongue2: Also you will need a "note" from your spouse for legal purposes in some states.

Why is it that you know so much about men getting their nuts cut?

I'd also go with March Madness. And you may want to consider making a frozen donation first, just as a backup plan in case circumstances change.

Look, you never know when you may want another kid - or another 14! Keep your options open and your zipper in working shape.

Another idea is that you could have your wife fixed while she's still in the hospital after giving birth? You could still take time off for yourself during those events with no added discomfort.

If delivery happens via caesarean section, I think they do can do the entire process at that time. That seemed to be one lady's plan that we met during our hospital tour for our 3rd child. She had delivered her first 2 kids via c-section and was just going to have the procedure performed while she was already opened up.

Oh well, just providing another option for you guys to consider.

My wife and I discussed this option already. If she has to deliver by caesarean, she'll get her tubes tied then. If everything is OK then I get snipped, because there are typically fewer complications arising that way.

Besides. We already paper-rock-scissor'ed for who would get fixed and I lost (true story, no BS).

After 4 kids this is the route we're taking. I'm just not at all comfortable getting snipped

Same thought process for my wife and I back in the day. I was planning on getting snipped, but she had a C-section and had her tubes tied after our last kid.

As long as the hood is open, they might as well work on the engine. :wink2:

bucks4me came home from the doctor today with some "information" for me.

Apparently, I'll be getting snipped by Dr. Cox.
