What's your thermostat set at in the winter?

Thump

Hating the environment since 1994
  • Time for another mind-numbing thread.

I'm talking about cold-climate people here, not douchebags like coastal, grad21, and LoKY who brag about the warm weather. Fuckers.

    Mine's at 69.

71 in the main living area and 69 in the bedrooms.
It's been unusually damp this year so far.
Normal winter humidity is in the single digits which helps with comfort as does the amount of sunshine.
Radiant floor heat, tile throughout the house.

Programmable honeywell thermostat from lowe's/home depot is set something like this:

    M-F: 5:30 am (wakeup) 69
    8:00 am (away) 62
    6:00 pm (arrive) 69
    11:00 pm (sleep) 65

    S-S 8:00 am (wakeup) 69
    12:00 pm (away) 65
    6:00 pm (arrive) 69
    11:00 pm (sleep) 65

Of course you can simply bump it up or down in between programs and it simply resumes to it's schedule after the bump time is over with.
