ps on a sidenote id hate to be in college these days, we used to free our asses off to buy beer when we thought it was expensive to heat one of those dumps on campus, i cant imagine it now.

"Off" most of the year. The downstairs neighbors (apt) provide 70 degree heat up here all winter (we actually crack our windows a lot).

68 during the day 64 from 11 to 6am. We have one of those programable stats. we keep the louvers closed in the stat room. That makes the rest of the house warmer and save money.

Mine is set for 63 and overnight setting is 55. And I have hardwood floors!
