What's Your Plan for Saturday?

Since the game is not until 8:00 PM there is a whole day to enjoy. I fall into the category of not going to the game so my day does not involve tailgating in the Shoe's parking lot.

I was hoping to get up early and drive a couple of hours north to do some salmon fishing, but the damn michigan weather has not been cooperative. The rivers are too low and the water is too warm. Most of the fish are still in Lake michigan. We were supposed to get rain last night, but we only had a drizzle. Some rain would have brought the fish into the rivers.

Now I figure I will be watching the ND-michigan game for part of the day. That's not necessarily a bad trade-off, but I am jonesing to fish.

Who knows what the rest of the day will bring, at least until 8:00 PM.

Well since I am way down south and cannot possibly make it in for the game due to my own season duties, I will wake up at 7:30, trade film, meet some of kids at the fieldhouse so they earn some money cleaning the stadium, change the laundry from the night before, break down one film, change the laundry again, drive the kids to lunch and then home, grab some beer and wings, head to another coach's house to watch Clemson @ 12pm on the big screen, make sauce for the wings, shoot some pool, watch Carolina @ 5pm, fire up the grill for some steaks, and settle in for the Bucks that night.

Nothing much really...

Your wife was hoping she'd finally get your dead ass to clean the garage

Fall baseball starts Sunday... so I'll do drills and pitch batting practice for a couple hours... somehow get my speed up to mid 70s and my curveball to break (or tell him "did you see that break" as my pitch only gets MOST of the way to the plate) then tell my youngest he can go play.. then I'll apply ice all over my body for the rest of the afternoon then icy hot just about game time... hoping to be able to move again by Sunday...

My Saturday TV lineup <hr size="1"> Gonna be a great Saturday of football.

7:30am: KState-Marshall and ESPN GameDay
9:00am: Notre Dame-Michigan
12:30pm: Cal-Washington, maybe some Hawaii-MSU
2:30pm: Georgia-South Carolina
5:00pm: Ohio State-Texas
6:15pm: start mixing in some ASU-LSU (Why do the two best games overlap?)
7:00pm: substitute UCLA-Rice if the OSU and ASU games are blowouts, otherwise watch UCLA-Rice after those games finish

I've got a morning tailgate party to go to (100 miles away from Columbus, mind you). Beers, brats and Gameday, and then the ND-scUM game. After that, us guys will go get a smorgasboard of meat to cook on the grill. We'll do that up around 5:00, tossing a football around and enjoying the 3:30 games the entire time. At around 7:00-7:30, we'll make our way downstairs to watch the game on the big screen.

taking the dog to the vet in the morning for his yearly check up stuff, then working on the nursery floor for a while, then headed to my parents around 4pm, doing a bunch of food on the grill and getting my assplant on the couch for the game

Wake up around 8:00. Help out by being part of the chain gang at my nephew's football game at 9:00. Either put the finishing touches on permanent repairs for my water main that I patched last weekend, or watch football all day. Basically depends on whether I can get the parts I need or not. Go over to a buddies house around 7:00 to watch the game on a very large television.

I have to work fri night and get off arounf 6:00 a.m.

Sleep for a few hours, get up and watch ND whip scums ass then wait for the wife and CCI is heading to Columbus, which I'd like to come to the bp tailgate with my wife and friends from Col.

But if we don't make it to the bp tailgate we are going to watch the game at his house.

then after game go celebrate at a local pub.
