Manfred and I were introduced to a great beer in San Francisco last week. It's Undercover Investigation Shut-Down Ale made by the Lagunitas Brewing Company. If you can find it, try it. Oh, and it's 10% alcohol!

The story behind the name is really funny. Apparently the brewery is known for its pot parties, and they were busted and served with a brief suspension. While they were suspended they continued to brew beer "undercover".

Anyway, we were told at a pub in San Fran that this was our only chance to try it since they brewed so little of it, and it was selling like hotcakes. Well, last night when we were making a beer run, our favorite wine store in Boston had 3 bottles of it! Woohoo!

All you bastiches is making me thirsty (it had nothing to do with mowing the grass, really!)

Unfortunately, not feeling like driving all the way up to the Andersons and getting real beer. I will be partaking of the Miller Lite in the fridge....
