did you put winter air in the tires?? If you leave the summer air in the tires when it gets below 40 degrees it will throw the whole car off.

I think he's (IMB) like most of us (not IMB) and went to 10W40 air. I can't remember the last time I put 30 weight in my tires. It's been so warm here in Ohio, I'd wait till we get a real cold streak going before I'd mess with the air.

Drumming sound, and sways side to side; sounds like BuckNutty is just living in your trunk. Kick his ass out of there and the drumming sound and swaying will go away.

Sounds like you could've broke the sway bar and maybe bent a rim causing it to sound like a 4x4 with big tires going down the road?

But if that aint it then it's definately the rearview mirror reducer. It's been common in newer vehicles so I hear.

Make, model, year, miles?
Front wheel drive? Shocks or struts?
Tires and brakes OK?

Unfortunately as cars become more sophisticated diagnosing troubles like this are a crap shoot.

yeah thats the fun behind people guessing :)

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Peach, Deety or Sushi found this thread? They'd be so grateful for the free information. Might cause them to rip the threads on their timeing belts before 60K miles.
At 58K now... too early???
