What Will Be the Buckeyes' Record in 2009?

Are the Buckeyes going to be a serious NC contender in 2009, or are they still a year away?

yes and yes. we are a threat for the nc but we are also a year away from truely being in a position to win it. can we get an option for 12-1 with a bcs bowl win? eh screw it. any year we beat scum is a successful season i don't care how much they suck.

I think it's possible to end up 12-1 or 11-2, not play in the title game, but not be 'screwed by the BCS'.

If two of the four among Florida, USC, Texas and Oklahoma go undefeated, any team with a loss really doesn't have much of an argument.

Personally I see us going 12-1 or 11-2 with a bowl win, but we won't get screwed by the BCS and won't play in the title game.

12-1. We lose to USC in a competitive game but get revenge for the PSU and BCS losses last year.

Looking at the schedule, I realistically see 12-1, maybe 11-2, and winning whatever bowl they get into, even if it is the MNC game.

That said, I really don't care as long as they brutalize the "Dick Rod Pocket Rocket Show" in that big Ann Arbor whorehouse this year.

Of course I could be wrong: they could easily slip up and win 12, and with a lot of luck, 13.

I voted for just so long as they beat Michigan, but I think they'll lose to USC and Penn State this year and end up winning their bowl game against Alabama or UGA in the Citrus bowl.

My gut says a win vs State Penn, my head say's a win vs USC. Then again, I've been wrong on both before.
