What Was Your Bar While At Ohio State?

Depended on the day. On Friday, we started out at Four Kegs for dollar pitchers at noon, two dollar pitchers at 1, and so on and so forth. Then we headed to Toos for free wings and dollar beers. Then nap. Then party.

On Saturday, why would anyone be at a bar? There was free beer all over campus.

On Sunday, Out-R-Inn. Dollar beers.

During the week, I liked to go to Larry's. Low key. Frats never spent time there because there was a rumor it was a gay bar (it wasn't but it kept the douchebags out).

lol, first time I went to Larry's there was a poetry reading in progress.... low key is right. (I dunno if that was normal or not, I never saw another one, in the other dozen or so times I went, it was also an older crowd)

That's the one kind of bizarre things about the vastness of campus, I went to Out R Inn, BW3 Woodruff, etc as my neighborhood bars... then if I was "going out" we'd go to south campus, mostly Mustards (lets face it, 70's and 80's night was too easy), Papa Joe's though not my favorite, I was there the last night before it went up in flames. I tried my best not to subject myself to the horrors of Coeds and Flyers, etc. Once Joe's was gone we kind of started to go to Dick's den a lot more (also low key) and mostly on the weekend we'd be in German Village at the Beck as a base of operations to strike out toward High and Front. As a side note, it was extremely difficult at times to navigate GV hammered, when you had to find your way back to the place you're staying.

Out R Inn, no idea how I forgot that place...definitely one of my favorites and an absolute campus legend. Some of the best deals around and I loved to play some pool there. And not a bar, but I saw Catfish Biff's get brought up, no better drunk pizza out there.

It's was like straight, uncooked dough sometimes, hee hee. I remember studying me tail off and eating that crap and Adriatico's in the middle of the night.

I think the worst pizza I ever had as a student was something called "Gumby's" or something. I blocked it out of my memory.
