Wow, great cover! One of my favorite songs ever.

I saw the Revivalists on Conan last night and found myself surprised how white they are... NTTIAWWT, of course, but from songs on their latest album like "Stand Up" and "All in the Family" they sounded a bit more colorful. :blush: They certainly have a diverse sound from start to finish of Men Amongst Mountains.

OK, did they overdub some of this, or do they have electronics to raise/lower something a full octave? Reason is, there's only one trombone player, yet there are portions where you clearly hear two trombones an octave apart. Also, it sounds like more than one trumpet, playing the same notes (no harmony or difference of octave).

I didn't realize these guys were Ukrainian until the end...the vocalist was flawless.

I thought the fuller horn sound was due to this group having both a tenor and alto sax, where Kath's CTA only had a single saxophone.
