Many a J has been rolled on that album cover, that's for sure...when I'm done with that, I'm going for some Belafonte-Jamaica farewell. I'm baking some sourdough and trying like hell to recreate Sabra hummus, so I need some inspiration.

I used to try to recreate food in my kitchen until I finally figured out it was much cheaper and less time consuming to go to the store and buy it. Less mess to clean up too.

I don't mind the mess, if it ends up being a little more expensive-within reason-that's fine too. I have a food processor-finally-and don't ever want to make another trip to the store just for hummus. It costs me $8 just to get to the store and back. I live in the middle of nowhere.

In keeping with the thread, I'm listening to some song where Pete Seeger goes on about equality while playing a 7 foot banjo...
