The long ones like that and Jack’s are fun because there’s time to process what was happening and celebrate it all the way to the end zone. All while losing your mind that it’s really happening.

A prolonged joy that is unmatched in sports.

Secondary to that play, obviously....but the Evan Spencer TD to Michael Thomas was magical. Proved that early lead for Bama was a mirage.

The most improbable – and most underrated – big play was Steve Miller's 40-yard pick six in that 2015 Sugar Bowl. Obviously overshadowed by "85 Yards Through the Heart of the South" and to some extent the Spencer-to-Thomas trick play but nevertheless a huge moment in that epic contest.

In 1975, tOSU was undefeated and ranked #1 going into The Game. The Buckeyes had a long drive to tie The Game 14-14 with 3:18 left. ttun tried to move the ball and Ray Griffin (Archie’s brother) picked off a pass and returned it a good distance to set up a first and goal. Pete Johnson pounded in The Game winner about 1 minute later.

I remember enjoying the hell out of that.

Was just about to search YouTube for that one.

That entire drive was great. Germaine with the bloody chin dripping on his jersey to watching cocky ass Jake Plummer ( already wearing Rose Bowl Champs hat) going from thinking ASU had won the Natty to having his soul crushed.

The best plays have all already been taken, I think, but I submit this one as an electric, memorable, special moment (especially for me, this was my first The Game in The Shoe as a student) that helped seal a victory and firmly establish the rivalry tide under Tressel.
