Does anyone else have this kind of feeling about any of the shows you may have mentioned earlier in this thread? How many people have gone back to watch a favored show after many years? Were you disappointed or still liked it just as much?

Clearly no one actually read your post. lol

Thundarr The Barbarian was the freakin' bomb when it was first broadcast.

It hasn't held up well over time.

ok, I am resurrecting this thread but for a decent reason I think. One of my favorite older tv shows was Greatest American Hero. I have spent a lot of today browsing the "play it now on xbox" section of Netflix and ran across this tv show. I know I really liked the show but I am reluctant to actually watch it now, because it was actually a pretty BAD show, and I don't want to ruin my memories. I got the first couple seasons of it on DVD a couple years back. We watched the episodes, and it was awful. I loved it growing up, but man was it a terrible show.

Knight Rider. I loved it as a kid, but couldn't watch it when USA started showing the re-runs several years ago.

See, that's what I am afraid of. It's a pleasant childhood memorie I don't want to ruin.

Have you seen the new one? I watched the first and couldn't stand it although I am told, yet again, that I need to give it a longer chance. I figure, if the damn show doesn't grab me with it's "dramatic entrance" I don't want to bother watching it try harder.

I watched the Knight Rider movie that they used to launch the new series, and it was awful. I won't watch the series.
