Depends on teh week and what you bought. One week the same item may be more expensive at one store than the other and then the next week vice versa. The stores change priices every week,on many items, not just what is on sale.

As for the shopping cart thing, all stores do it. They just go through and pick out items that they know are more expensive at the other store and compare those prices. It is amazing how cut throat the grocery business is.
