My dad just bought some advertising with time warner so for christmas I got their fiesta bowl package: Tickets on the 40, staying at the hilton, privcate charter jet, and our director is John Hicks... My grandpa and me are heading out and I've never seen him so exicted (he was a color commentator before they went with one contracted station when Woody was coaching). Easily the sickest present I've ever gotten.

The 2002 NC was the best gift philosophically. I'm an older guy and I was beginning to wonder if I would ever see another one. Tress and the guys solved that concern in a hurry.

Practically, some relative gave me a beautiful blanket-like red with black figures item as a gift a few years ago. I say blanket-like because it seems to be smaller than a typical blanket but much bigger and more "solid" than a shawl. So, I don't know what to call it. But, it is toasty warm when our Vegas temperatures fall to a bone chilling 30 degrees or so. :biggrin:

And before that, someone presented me with a set of Scarlet & Gray OSU paper dinner food napkins. I always planned to use them, but could never quite find an occasion that justified using them up.

Finally, about three years ago my former Rotary Club whom I had lectured for over a decade about the glories of tOSU football (they were mostly BYU fans, UNLV grads, and west coast folks) gave me one of the huge encyclopedias of Ohio State football history, inscribed with a personal message by Archie. It occupies a place of honor on my coffee table in my apartment. I will treasure it always.

Best Buckeye gift..... That would be getting invited by friends to go to OSU/scUM tailgate party '02~Our Championship season. My 1st ever tailgate. It was a home game & the LAST game where we were allowed open containers!! I was dressed to the 9's in my OSU gear, completed with a 64 oz OSU "mug"-if you wanna call it that. It's the biggest thing I've ever seen! The reaction every time I went to the keg was priceless! "Damn that girl can drink! Look at that mug!" lol
That atmosphere that day was like nothing I had ever experienced. And then when the game was over & we had won..... OMG. Lane Ave was absolutely insane!!! I'm so happy to have been a part of that. I will never forget it....
