What Excites You Most About The Upcoming FB Season?

Yes it is great seeing these young men mature into leaders. I'm looking forward to Curtis Terry and Dionte Johnson in their last years..also the return of Anderson Russell,Mo' Wells,Worthington,Denlinger and Beanie of course.

Everything about buckeye football makes me excited for football season...

a few things that stand out though would have to be singing We Dont Give a Damn For the Whole State of michigan and Hang on Sloopy with thousands of other fans

the atmosphere on Lane and basically all of Cbus on Saturdays

talking shit with all of my friends who are michigan fans (im from Toledo)

oh and the football team dominating....that is always exciting as well

primarily the qb situation. THEN, i am anxious to see how they use b. "in saine" saine. what a combo of 2 mister OH IO"s in the backfield pounding the 2nd tier of defenses. when c. wells needs a rest bring in saine. put both of them in the backfield and watch how opposing d's stack the line then swing m. wells for a nice screen.

I'm not sold that Saine will play much right away. Knowing Tressel, and the loyality that he shows to upper classmen that stick it out (ala Mo Hall), I'm betting that Mo will get his share of snaps.......and given every opportunity to prove himself. I'm not saying that Saine will not supplant him before midseason, but I'm not buying the notion of him taking Mo Wells' job right out of the gates.

What Excites You Most About The Upcoming FB Season?

Lived in Ohio from 1957 to 1981. Became a Buckeye at about ten years of age. I will finally attend my first Buckeye game this season when our Bucks come to seattle.

I'm excited about a lot of things about this upcoming season. But one of the things I'll be watching for is our speed on defense. Gholston and Wilson off the edges is going to cause havoc for opposing Offenses. I think a lot of peope are going to be surprised with Wilson's play. I won't be suprised to see Offensive coordinators using TE's to slow down the rush off the edge.

Also, Denlinger and Worthington's quickness in the middle is going to cause trouble.

JL is solid in the middle, with decent speed, and Grant and Freeman on the outsides will be a strength. I think we will see more blitzing this year than last.

Jenkings, Washington, Russell and gang in the defensive backfield also bring impressive speed to the table. I think our D will have the most speed out of all the teams in the Big Ten and this will give us an advantage in many of our games.
